Although I needed to communicate a lot of information (all the services that the UPS Stores offers), I was able to create a design that still looks clean and engaging. Another "not so everyday" type job, but enjoyed working on this piece just the same! This NEW UPS Store is opening soon!
SimpleBills Merry Christmas Mailer
This mailer/poster I created for SimpleBills this past December was a hit! Instead of receiving a "typical" Christmas card, all of SimpleBills customers got a oversized poster sent to them in the mail. As each customer unfolds their mailer, SimpleBills holiday message is revealed in a fun and bold way. I am so thankful for my clients who are ready to step out of the box and create something memorable and unique together.
Celebrating Year One In Business!
A year ago today I started my business Cedar Gandy. I can't believe it has been one whole year. There is so much to celebrate, be thankful for, and reflect on. Thank you to all my clients, friends, and family for all of your support and business! I am so excited for 2015 and what we will create together!

Being brought in for this re-brand was exciting, challenging (in a good way), and inspiring. The owner of C4 Endurance provides high performance athletic training, and he has also competed as an athlete for years with quite an amazing and extensive resume. He has accumilated many prestigious awards during his professional experience including, "2013 Ironman 70.3 - Age Group Rankings - "GOLD - All World Group" - Top 1% in World - 20th (World), 12th (United States)".
EXCITING : There were a couple Austin, TX design firms being interviewed for this job along with Cedar Gandy, and guess what?!...Cedar Gandy got the job! CHALLENGING (in a good way) : The client's years of personal competition experience brought a great wealth of knowledge and expertise into the actual design process. From his knowledge of what the world of high endurance sports requires mentally, physically, and even visually, I was able to hear and take note of his concerns and needs. "Strong, bold, simple yet effective, able to stand alone, be compact, show movement, represent three sports, able to be used and seen across multiple platforms, explosive and passionate." These words were my spring board for what this re brand needed to be, which began the creative stirring in my mind for hours and days until I couldn't wait to get out the sketch pad. I remember waking up in the morning having dreamt about it all night, hoping to evolve these ideas into what was necessary for my client's company. INSPIRING : I was really influenced by the passion behind C4 Endurance and wanted to somehow bring that into the design. Not only do the goals and success of each of his client's matter, there is also the sense of positive character building, confidence, and the over-all satisfaction that he desires each athlete to experience — that healthy sense of pride. So my goal at the end of the day was to create something that would communicate confidence, satisfaction, and pride to each athletic wearing a C4 Endurance jersey, hat, or other training and race day gear.

October Wedding
I have to say I when I designed our wedding suite and paper goods (which I had never done) something came alive in me. I really had fun putting together each piece, making it personal and creating what would be the first glimpse of our wedding day to our guests as they received their invitations in the mail.

Don't you just love the logo and design elements that Megan Tidwell created for Anne?! I do. It was so fun to take what she created and carry it throughout the rest of Anne's visual branding, marketing materials, and website.
A couple summers ago I had the pleasure of sharing a room for two weeks with Anne in Amman, Jordan — ha, what fun and memorable times! It was shortly after that trip when her photography business really took off. It has been so fun to watch her grow her business, become successful, and teach herself most of what she knows. It was a honor to be brought into her process of re-branding and come along side her in streamlining the look of Anne Brookshire Photography.
